18 years old and no period..?

I had one for like a week.. about 3 years ago. But my mom said she thinks it was from stress? Anyways I will be 19 in like 4 months and haven't had a period yet... what are the possibilities I could have... like cancer or something or can't have children , etc. I'm a Virgin by the way (: !
