How should I ask my mom?

ok, so last year november, I got in a fight with this girl over text and facebook (I know, super lame). I got suspended from school and it just wasn't my character. i have matured in so many ways and was so insecure back then and now I have confidence up to the sky! I feel like I deserve my phone and facebook back. I have been disconnected from my social life (she pulled me out of school because of the accident) and I feel like i deserve my phone and fb back! how can i ask her?!
